This was the group's annual members meeting. It consisted of the following sections:

Our trip to the Azores

Alan Gray gave us an informative review of the group's recent trip to the Azores. This covered the fauna and flora we saw as well as the geology. We hope this will be followed up by a detailed talk of the interesting Plate Tectonics that makes the Azores so special.

Rock of the month

This was an experiment to see if this idea could be added to our monthly talks. Mary gave a talk on a Jurassic rag-stone, comparing it to the easier to work freestone.
